Personally I’ve found XYPN Find An Advisor an excellent place to find an advisor.
Plenty of these advisors are fee only advisors, so they’re not incentivize to sell you on investments that earn them big commissions but leave you paying high fees, they’re interested in providing the financial help you need on a per-hour or package basis. I’d highly recommend fee only advisors for this reason, and I’d prefer engaging with financial advisors on an as-needed basis than by paying a continual fee.
